I Like Bananas' with Don Oliver on vocals. If you take the B2112 road out of Haywards Heath in West Sussex the last building on the right before open country beckons is The Fox & Hounds. This was the venue at which hundreds of jazz sessions took place between the years 1966 and 1977 featuring many famous names. Under the aegis of landlord Chris Worrall, his wife Anne and trombonist Mike Collier the Fox became known as the Sunday night jazz spot. The New City Jazzmen appeared there 70 times and this CD features the band live in one of their performances in 1973 |
